To calculate the correct scaling factor

In a design file, place a text string with one of every character.

- Place a shape around the text element so that the shape exactly bounds the width of the element as it appears on the screen.
- Print the new text and the shape using Bentley Advanced Map Finishing as large as possible on an A4 or A3 printer.
- Use the printout to measure the width of the shape and the width of the text string.
